Narcotics were detected in a person who arrived to the Autonomous Republic on the Baku-Nakhchivan flight.

APA's Nakhchivan bureau reports that the officers of the Nakhchivan Air Transport Police Department detained M. Valiyev, who came to the Autonomous Republic on the Baku-Nakhchivan flight, based on operational information.

Heroin, a narcotic drug, was found and taken away from M. Valiyev.

Regarding the fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 234.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the investigation is ongoing.
