A new deputy has been appointed to the Minister of Defense Industry.

APA reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on March 15.

According to the order, Vugar Valeh oghlu Mustafayev was appointed the deputy minister of defense industry.

Vugar Mustafayev was born in Baku in 1986.

From 2004 to 2008, he studied at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, from 2010 to 2013, he studied at Khazar University in the "Business Management (MBA)" master's program, majoring in finance and credit.

From 2009 to 2012, he worked as a senior specialist at Ernst & Young CIS BV, one of the world's most prestigious international audit companies operating in the country.

In 2012-2014, he worked as the Director of the Internal Audit Department at Azerfon LLC.

Since 2014, he has worked in various management positions in PASHA Holding LLC and its related companies.

In 2014, he was appointed to the position of Advisor to the Executive Director at PASHA Holding LLC.

Since 2014, he has been working as the Chairman of the Inspection Commission of PASHA Insurance OJSC and PASHA Life Insurance OJSC.

In 2021, the Head of the Representative Office of PASHA Holding LLC in the Republic of Turkey, and at the same time the Istanbul-based PDT and Gayrımenkul A.Ş.

Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company was appointed.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 15, 2023, he was appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Defense Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
