Brie is one of the regular members of the Magnum Photo Agency, and has been at the forefront of global history throughout his life. The artist’s first retrospective exhibition in Asia after his death will be exhibited at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum from now until June 18. The exhibition is organized by the North American Museum in collaboration with Lausanne Produced by Photo Elysée, Marc.

More than 500 works and documents are exhibited this time, including original antique photos, negative prints, printing proofs, videos, handmade books, exhibition plans, notes, letters, collages, watercolors, etc., in addition to Brie's photographic works , you can also get a glimpse of the rich creations in his life.

During his nearly 60-year career, he has recorded important international events in the second half of the 20th century with a warm and calm eye, and has traveled all over Europe, the Middle East, America, Japan and China. This exhibition is the result of six years of comprehensive research on Brie's works and life at the Elysee Museum of Photography in Lausanne. In addition to showing Brie's photography techniques, the exhibition also shows the key elements of Brie's creative process from 12 "focus points". Interspersed with important events in life.
