His Royal Highness was very kind and broke a royal rule by agreeing to take a selfie with several people.

The ban on selfies in the British royal family has not been such a strict rule for a long time, William and his wife Kate often take pictures with people on their phones, and Harry and Meghan do the same.

Even King Charles III had outings where people took pictures with him.

However, a rule is a rule, and if it is written in the royal protocol, then it is safe to say that Prince William broke it.

However, it only brought joy to the surrounding people and, probably, to William himself too, he was happy to pose.

It should be noted that earlier it was assumed that it is not possible to get close to the royal person, because in this way security rules may be violated.

But in this particular case, Prince William was hardly threatened by anything from peaceful people, who, as we can see from the photo, were also very happy to see the future king.
