"Yesterday, we received a call from the Ministry of Culture and were informed that the festival will not take place.

They refused to answer who made such a decision and why.

After that, the state register of films of the Republic of Belarus was updated and the films of the festival, which were entered there on March 17, disappeared from it," the organizers reported.

The festival has been postponed indefinitely.

According to the organizers, the Mooon cinema of the Dana Mall, where the screenings were supposed to take place, will automatically refund the money for the tickets purchased on the website.

"If you have any questions, you can contact the box office of the movie theater," the organizers add.

The "Unfiltered Cinema" festival appeared as an offshoot of the international short film festival Cinema Perpetuum Mobile.

It is "an experiment with a non-format between art and cinematography".
