A London police officer was "repeatedly raped" by a colleague and the team urinated on her during "initiation rituals", Sky News reported.

However, the proceedings in the case have been closed.

The biological evidence was destroyed after the freezer where it was stored broke down.

"All the freezers used to store rape evidence were in poor condition and destroyed evidence," the report said.

This leads to the termination of investigations into hundreds of rape cases.

A policewoman who was "repeatedly raped by a colleague" tried to take her own life.

The woman, who we'll call "Officer A," said it was "an open secret in their team, but few people want to talk."

Describing the "worst and final incident", she said: "He punched me in the face, knocked me unconscious and raped me. My eye was bruised and my lips split open."

Officer A said that she and her colleague remained on the same team despite her requests to supervisors to be separated, without disclosing the reason.

“I was so angry and so disappointed with them and I decided I couldn't take it anymore.

I was totally desperate.

I tried to kill myself because of the police investigation, it was draining the life out of me," she said. After two years of investigation, no action was taken and the victim herself was declared a "troublemaker".

Another police officer, whom we will refer to as "Officer L," also shared that her colleague often touched her inappropriately, forced her to sit on his lap, and groped her private parts while she was changing in the common changing rooms.

She said she reported it to her bosses but "nothing was done about it".

A London police officer admitted to raping 24 women

Months later, she finds out by accident that the case she filed has been dropped when she runs into a co-worker in the hallway who tells her "I'm sorry for what happened, but that's how it usually goes."

Officer L challenged the court's decision, but was told, "Your word is against his."

After the case was dropped, L claims she was branded a liar and troublemaker and ostracized by her colleagues.

The report detailed "initiation rituals" involving the "humiliation of junior officers" at the Met Police.

This included challenges to eat food, urinate on people and sexual assaults.

A policewoman told Sky News that initiation rituals were common in her area, with women being forced to eat whole cheesecakes until they vomited, Darrick reported.

"Those who refused to participate were kicked out of the team," she said.

A police officer with a homosexual orientation was the target of a "prolonged campaign of homophobia from within the police".

He has seen WhatsApp messages exchanged by colleagues plotting among themselves to sexually harass him.

He was also subjected to homophobic abuse from anonymous social media accounts.

"This is going to sound pretty funny, but... I'm scared of the police. I don't trust my own organization. I've changed the route I walk to avoid passing police officers when I'm not on duty," he shared.

A police officer said the detection rate - the proportion of cases in which a suspect is identified - for rape is so low that it is effectively legalized in London.

According to him, the police simply do not believe victims of violence.

Many victims described being "pushed away" by officers who "devalued their feelings and led them to believe that what they experienced was not a crime," the report said.

One rape victim was told that she had done something to provoke the attack and that she should have done more to protect herself from her abuser.

Police officers often justified rapists by saying, “This is his first offense.

He's just very young.''

Another victim was told she was paranoid and asked if she had a mental illness.
