This footage was taken on 19th March 1937 as Queen Elizabeth made her way to the Royal Box and was escorted by a huge crowd to watch the Grand National horse race at Aintree, Liverpool.
Dressed for the day, the queen wore a light colored maxi dress over which was a jacket with interesting embellishment on the sleeves, and she held a fox fur choker in her hand.
Her Majesty was wearing a neat hat, with necklaces around her neck and tall gloves.
And she was wearing high-heeled ankle boots.
