[Reporter Tu Yingru/Taipei Report] Art Basel, the largest art exhibition in Asia, will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center from March 21, welcoming all entities after the Wuhan pneumonia (COVID-19) epidemic Activity returns.
This year's core exhibition areas are "Gallery Gathering", "Asian Vision" and "Art Exploration", gathering 177 galleries and outstanding works from 32 countries, including Asia, Europe, North and South America and Africa, including 8 galleries Participating galleries in Taiwan: Geng Gallery, TKG+, Zuncai Art Center, Linshe Gallery, Android Art, Soka Art, Asia Art Center and Yiri Art Project.
In addition, special exhibition areas such as "Art Gathering Space", "Light Show", "Curatorial Corner" and "Dialogue with Art Basel" will also return.

It has always been the most popular large-scale exhibition area at the exhibition, "Artspace", curated by Sydney Artspace Executive Director Alexie Glass-Kantor, who is also the curator of the Australian Pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale. ‧Themed "This present, moment", 14 large-scale installation works will be exhibited; the light screening site will be curated by multimedia artist and filmmaker Li Zhenhua, presenting works by artists from all over the world, a total of 8 screening sessions and 29 video works, and a special screening of "MEMORIA" by the well-known Thai director Apichabong Weerastagu who won the Palme d'Or, set in Colombia and starring the Academy Award winner Tilda Swinton.
