Founded in 1998, the Riverbed Theater Company launched the immersive theater "Open Room Project" in 2011. Each performance is only for one audience, breaking the boundaries between the audience and performers, and providing close sensory interaction.

This kind of immersive theater works performed only for "you" is very similar to the immersive experience of VR, so when thinking about experimental innovation, I decided to launch VR works.

"Legacy" is starred by two performers You Yuxin and Huang Zhikai. It proposes a meditation on the boundary between dreams and reality, fear and desire.

Director Guo Wentai said: "I hope that through "Legacy", we can create moments that allow the audience to escape the logic and load of reality, so that when they return to reality, they can re-look at their lives in a novel and profound way."

Next, "Legacy" will be screened at the "Chaos & Memories" VR film festival at the PHI Center in Montreal, Canada from March 22 to June 11.
