Last year, the Food Safety Agency sent 436 notifications to exporting countries regarding quarantine pests detected in imported plants and plant products.

APA reports that this was reflected in the "Report on the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers in 2022".

The document states that 295 notifications were issued to Russia, 57 to Iran, 41 to Georgia, 20 to Turkey, 10 to Ukraine, 6 to Belarus, 5 to Kazakhstan, 1 to the Netherlands and Italy.
