Komodo dragon caught deer in one fell swoop

There are many videos on the internet that show large predator information hunting in the wild.

Now, a horrifying video has surfaced of a Komodo dragon attacking a deer and then swallowing it alive in one go.

The deer tries to get out of the Komodo dragon's jaws but all its efforts go in vain.

The video posted on Instagram begins with a Komodo dragon attacking a deer with its razor-sharp teeth.

The deer was not able to fight back.

Within seconds, the Komodo dragon pounces on the deer and swallows the animal whole in one go.

The video has sent shockwaves across the internet, triggering a barrage of comments on Instagram.

One user wrote, "It's just nature doing its thing."

Another user wrote, "It's more painful than it sounds..its foot is small so the pain is immense!"

A third user wrote, "She must have some serious acid-burning enzymes in her stomach to dissolve her entire body."

The venue of the incident has not been disclosed.

Komodo dragons are the largest and heaviest lizards with long tails, strong and agile necks, and strong limbs.

They are the natives of Indonesia.

These wild dragons usually weigh about 154 pounds (70 kg), but the largest verified specimen reached a length of 10.3 feet (3.13 m) and weighed 366 pounds (166 kg).

According to the Smithsonian's National Zoo, males tend to be larger than females.
