On their way to the service at Westminster Abbey, both Kate and Camilla had to keep their hats on so that the strong winds that arose that day would not blow their headpieces off.

The Princess of Wales, 41, and the Queen Consort, 75, appeared to laugh as they held their hats to prevent them from being blown off by the wind.

This happens periodically with Camilla, she often finds herself in a situation where she literally has to fight the wind for her own hat.

We will remind, for the first service, which took place without Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Kate appeared in a dark blue jacket with a basque and skirt from Erdem with a pair of sapphire and diamond earrings from Princess Diana and a brooch with feathers from the Prince of Wales, which was a gift from King Charles.

Queen Camilla chose a blue wool crepe dress and coat by Fiona Clare with a feathered Philip Treacy beret and a sapphire and diamond brooch that belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth.

It was the same look in which Camila welcomed South African President Cyril Ramaphosa to the UK on his first state visit in November 2022.
