Russian telegram channel Baza, close to the security forces, reported on March 13 that a Belarusian official had disappeared in Moscow.

We were talking about 44-year-old

Dmitriy Shadko

, who recently held the position of assistant chairman of the board of the Eurasian Economic Commission,

Mikhail Myasnikovich.

Shadko was last seen on March 9.

Friends and acquaintances of the official filed a disappearance report with the police.

Russian security forces opened Shadko's apartment, but he was not there.

Human rights activists from "Viasna" reported on March 14 that Dmitri Shadko was detained at his workplace in the case of sabotage in Machulyshche, when a Russian A-50 aircraft was attacked with the help of drones.

"Vesnovits" added that Shadko had been actively participating in the movement of the railwaymen for a long time, and some of his acquaintances had been detained earlier.

"Conflicts are not about Dmitry"

Svoboda sources said that Dmitri Shadko had indeed been in the railway movement for a very long time.

Moreover, in recent years he headed the country's oldest role modeling club "Silver Unicorn" (or "House of the Silver Unicorn").

Shadko was known by the nickname "Charles De Clair" among the railwaymen.

The origin of the pseudonym is unknown, there is no real historical person with such a name.

Shadko ran two "Ukontakte" pages at once, one under his real name, the other under a fictitious one.

Roleplaying is a subculture of live-action role-playing games.

Unlike the reconstructionists, the ralevists do not adhere to strict historical truth.

Here, for example, is one of Shadko's alerts:

"A role-playing game about a few days from the life of a small monastery of the Fanteur order in the year 1241 from the Nativity of Christ.

The main characters of this story are monks and nuns (yes, the charter of the order allowed them to live together).

Next to them are a certain number of people whom need or fate brought under the roof of the monastery these days.

But in the center there is still a monastery.

A small universal.

Self-sufficient and self-respecting.

Minsk region.

April 29 - May 2, 2020."

There could be other, very different topics - Hogwarts, Greek gods, adventures in Mexico.

Every December, Dmitri Shadko conducted a survey where he asked to evaluate the results of the games in the calendar year - general impressions, the work of the masters (plan, rules, plot) and the performance of the participants.

The club "Silver Unicorn" has been in existence since February 14, 1996.

In 2016, the club celebrated its 20th anniversary with a party at the Minsk City Hall.

According to Svoboda sources, searches were also conducted at the homes of some other railway workers, computers and mobile phones were taken.

The interlocutors do not know for sure whether this is related to the story in Machulyshche.

"I can say that the conflicts are not about Dmitry," says one of his acquaintances.

In 2019, the KGB already denied the detention of Shadko

Dmytri Shadko was born in 1979 in Minsk, grew up in the Zavodsky district of the capital.

He graduated from the BDUIR and the Academy of Management.

He worked in the central committee of the BPSM (predecessor of the BRSM), was the editor-in-chief of the magazine "Planet" (he replaced Vsevolad Yancheuski in this position).

In 2011, Shadko became the deputy minister of information.

In this position, he promised to make the Internet interesting for pensioners.

It was Shadko who voiced the initiative to transfer Internet resources to the category of mass media.

From 2014 to 2019, Shadko was the First Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization.

He lobbied for a "decree on the digital economy".

In 2019, there was a report that Shadko could be detained in the case of Beltelecom CEO Sergei Sivadedov, but after some time the KGB denied this information.

Nevertheless, Shadko then left the state job.

For two years, he was a director in the company "DFS" LLC.

This company is a part of the BelVEB Bank holding company and is engaged in the sale and placement of tokens (a unit of account that replaces securities in the digital world. - RS).

Shadko left this job in October 2021.

On August 14, 2020, Shadko posted an avatar on Facebook with the inscription "Pray for Belarus."

There is no political activity on its pages.
