The story tells the story of Taiwanese painting circles Master Chen Chengbo's daily interactions with his wife Zhang Jie and daughter Chen Binu show his artistic spirit, and how Zhang Jie preserved more than 18,000 paintings, sketches, documents, etc. from her husband through the means of "collecting paintings". Let Chen Chengbo's artistic achievements escape the turbulent era and see the light of day again.

Shi Rufang, the screenwriter of "Tibetan Paintings", was first invited by Chen Libai (the grandson of Chen Chengbo), chairman of the Chen Chengbo Foundation, to write a script for her grandmother.

After Chen Chengbo died in the 228 incident, his wife Zhang Jie, in order to prevent her husband's art from becoming a victim of political disaster, publicly burned the frame of the removed painting, and hid the original painting, sketches and even letters in every corner of the house. It was not disclosed to the family until later in life.

Shi Rufang said that her mission is to let the audience see this "woman hidden behind the painting".

Shi Rufang spent ten years writing "Tibetan Paintings", which went through three versions with different types of performances. It was not until she cooperated with the Flying People Theater Troupe that it was finalized. The story is very suitable for her story with history and imagination.

Director Shi Peiyu said that this story has a lot of grief, and it needs to be handled calmly. Therefore, through the medium of occasional works, it can be performed in a more detailed and restrained manner, and the story of fiction and reality will naturally be presented on the stage.
