Pavol Latushka

, the representative of the United Transitional Cabinet in transit of power and the head of the "People's Anti-Crisis Administration",

published an address in connection with the verdict handed down to him and other participants in the "Coordinating Council case":

"Lukashenka's regime sentenced me in absentia to 18 years in a penal colony.

Svetlana Tikhanovskaya - up to 15 years old.

I heard many words of support, gave dozens of comments to Belarusian and foreign media, and it is very important to know that neither Belarusians nor the civilized world are still indifferent to another lawlessness of Lukashenka's regime, Latushka said.

- Yes, these are virtual terms.

This is not a real trial.

But this invalid court really keeps in prison the Nobel laureate Ales Bialiatski, Mikalai Statkevich, Pavlo Severynets, Siarhei Tsikhanouski, Viktar Babaryka, Maria Kalesnikova, Maksim Znak, Igor and Dasha Losik, Stepan Latypov, Valery Kastiugov, Andrzej Pachobut, Oksana Zaretskaya, To Nast Loika, Natalya Dulina, Yehor Lebiadek, Mikalai Bredzelev, Kateryna Andreeva... and thousands, thousands of Belarusian men and women illegally convicted on political grounds."

Paval Latushka, I am turning today to the governments, officials and politicians of the European Union, USA, Canada, Great Britain and other countries of the civilized world with a specific request.

Support thousands of Belarusian political prisoners with concrete and decisive actions."

What Latushka urged the West to do

  • impose maximum harsh sanctions against Lukashenka's regime and harmonize sanctions in relation to Lukashenka's regime and Russia;

  • to completely close cargo communication with the EU for Lukashenka's regime;

  • initiate criminal cases against the aides of Lukashenka's regime within the framework of universal jurisdiction and recognize the KGB and GUBAZIK as terrorist organizations;

  • start work on the creation of a special tribunal in connection with the Lukashenka regime for systematic, mass violations of human rights and crimes against humanity in relation to Belarusians.
