[Reporter Ling Meixue/Taipei Report] The 36th "Taipei Traditional Arts Season" organized by the Taipei Chinese Orchestra (TCO) will start from March 12th to June 18th. Covering the content of artistic performances such as song, music, dance, and drama, the relay presents 34 performances.

The opening season concert "Colorful Island Love" will be held at the National Concert Hall on March 12. Taiwanese-Swiss cellist Yang Wenxin and Beishiguo Chief Conductor Zhang Yu'an will be invited to lead a group to perform "C Major" by Taiwanese composer Xiao Tairan. Cello Concerto" (National Orchestra Version), this is not only the only piece of music by Xiao Tairan that has had its world premiere in Taiwan, but this time it will also perform a rare complete version of 3 movements.

The finale program is the national dance drama "Qixi Rain", which will be staged at the Grand Theater of Taipei Performing Arts Center from June 16th to 18th, composed by Zheng Sisen and choreographed by Xu Huimei; This won the National Arts Award.

After more than 40 years, Beishiguo invited dancer Xu Limei to rebuild the dance score, composer Zhu Yunsong to re-arrange, and conductor Zheng Libin to lead Beishiguo to perform live.
