Camilla celebrated the second anniversary of her Reading Room book club and invited guests to a small party at Clarence House.

Queen Camilla thanked the guests for coming to her and the King's residence for the reception, which was postponed for a week due to the Queen's illness.

Her Majesty launched a literacy initiative in April 2020 with a list of recommended books to help people survive the COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine.

People's feedback was positive and inspired Camilla to create the "Reading Room" on Instagram, which has attracted more than 155 thousand followers worldwide.

"I am happy to announce that the Reading Room has become a charitable organization that works to reduce the gap between readers and writers and helps people of all ages and professions find books and get to know them," she said, urging everyone to attend the organization's first event, a literary festival at Hampton Court Palace later this year.

"The development of my reading room would never have happened without all of you, and I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you for your support and contribution to it," the Queen added, according to People.
