According to a Fox News report, British Olympian and former American football defensive tackle Lawrence Okoye has become a victim of a rare disease.
In December, he shared a video on his Instagram in which he is seen pressing the front of his foot six times with his thumb.
Even after releasing the pressure, a thumb impression remained in his skin, as if a dough had been pressed.

Sharing the video, Mr. Okoye wrote in the caption, "Warning! If you are a coward, don't watch..."
According to a report in the New York Post, the player said on TikTok that "I feel like I'm made of playdough."
The athlete later revealed in another TikTok video that he has been diagnosed with a skin condition called cellulitis.
Okoye claimed that the infection started after he broke his leg.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, "Cellulitis is a common bacterial skin infection that causes redness, swelling, and pain in the infected area of skin."
Antibiotics can be used to treat the disease, but it can be fatal if not treated promptly.
If not treated in time, the infection can spread to the facial lining, a deeper layer of tissue.
Furthermore, cellulitis can result in shock, amputation and even death.

Mr. Okoye said in the Tiktok video that, people believe that I have many other diseases.
"Many people were trying to tell me that I had heart disease or liver disease, kidney disease, cancer and diabetes, but obviously I didn't. I had an infection called cellulitis. It's basically bacterial that gets into your system through an open wound."
To this he added that, "those crazy holes I had in my feet no longer exist."
