During the operations carried out by the officers of the Balakan District Police Department, persons who committed crimes of fraud and theft, engaged in the circulation and sale of drugs, as well as those who kept illegal firearms and ammunition were detained.

According to information provided to APA by the Sheki regional group of the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the victim, who applied to the police department, said that the person named "Vugar" fraudulently seized 24,000 manat money by making false promises that he would release his close friend from the penitentiary.


Vugar Alizadeh, a resident of Shaki city, was detained as a suspect as a result of the search and operation measures, and he confessed his crime in his statement.

It is being investigated whether the detained person is involved in other similar crimes.


During another operation, Azer Azizov, a resident of the district, who stole from the yard of a private house located in the territory of the district, was arrested.

It was determined that he entered the address while no one was at home and stole items used in construction and household.

Although A. Azizov sold some of what he stole, some of it was taken as material evidence from his house.


As a result of the operation-search measures conducted against the persons engaged in the illegal circulation and sale of narcotics, 4 previously convicted persons - Farid Gazakhov, Agaseyid Garayev, Rasul Ismayilov and Shahmar Soltanov - were detained.

During the personal search, various types of narcotics were found and submitted to the investigation.

It should be noted that Sh.Soltanov was sentenced to imprisonment in the form of restriction of freedom some time ago and was equipped with an electronic bracelet.

However, he was arrested again for the same act without drawing any conclusions from it.


As a result of the operation and search measures, which were continued in order to detect and take illegally stored weapons and prevent future crimes, hunting rifles of different brands without relevant documents were found and taken from 11 residents of the region.

Those weapons were sent for examination, a preventive conversation was held with the owners, and legal action was taken against them.
