"Not so long ago, Vitaly and Wladislav received the status of refugees and now they will decide what to do next," their lawyer

Vadim Drozdov

told Narodnaya Volya .

- They waited for this status for quite a long time, the procedure was delayed, although, as it seems to me, everything was already clear."

According to the lawyer, this status gives the Kuznechiks the right to work and the opportunity to move around Europe.

The lawyer also informed that Kuznechyka's father and son plan to write a book: "Vital and Vladislaus constantly kept a diary, wrote down everything that happened to them every day, and now they have a desire to put it all into literary form."

Vitaliy and Wladislav Kuznechyki actively participated in the protests of 2020 and escaped from the police chase, hiding behind the fence of the Swedish embassy, which is located in the center of Minsk.

In connection with this, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus presented a note of protest to the ambassador of Sweden.

Sweden refused to extradite Kuznechiks to the security forces.

In the end, the Kuznechiks managed to leave the territory of Belarus and get to Latvia.

In one of the programs on state television, it was shown how the security forces were allegedly aware of all the movements of the Kuznechiks and actually knew about their successful escape from Belarus.

The father and son themselves said that they "laughed for a long time" at the official version of the authorities, which, in their opinion, tried to cover up the incompetence of the security forces, that they could not catch them.
