[Reporter Ling Meixue/Taipei Report] The Polish Wieniewski International Violin Competition with the longest history in the world, the winner of the 16th gold medal in the last (2022) year was the 20-year-old Japanese violinist Hina Maeda Only 4 months after the competition, the gold medal winner has performed more than 60 world tour concerts, and the first stop in Asia is in Taiwan.

The organizer, Xinxiang, was invited by the competition last year to visit Poznan to observe the competition process. He also reported that the chairman of the jury and the French violin master Dumay mentioned in the sharing session that what the competition is looking for is not a skilled violinist, but a violinist. He is an "artist" with musical opinions.

Maeda Hina’s visit to Taiwan this time held the “Maeda Hina Violin Recital” at the Taichung National Opera House on the 20th and at the Kaohsiung Weiwuying National Performance Hall on the 23rd, and performed in collaboration with the well-known Taiwanese pianist Wang Peiyao .
