The defendants are charged with at least 1,586 crimes, in total, under more than 10 articles of the Criminal Code.

Roman Pratasevich admitted his guilt in full.

The Prosecutor General's Office requires the defendants to cover property damages in the amount of over 30 million rubles.

One of the participants in the case,

Yan Rudzik

, tells on Svaboda Premium whether the NEXTA channel is involved in the organization of protests, which accusation surprised him the most, what he would say to Roman Pratosevich today, and whether he is afraid of Lukashenka's special services abroad.

"They (the authorities of the RS) have a very low opinion of Belarusians, because the NEXTA telegram channel did not sit down and come up with all this.

We reflected the wishes of Belarusians.

It was the most popular Telegram channel, as it was impossible to reach out to the state media in solving various problems.

And it was possible to write to NEXTA even before the protests and the case was resolved, starting from low wages at the enterprise or something else.

There was trust in us, people had a request.

This sentence is not only for me, Roma and Stepa, but for the entire Belarusian people."

- says Rudik.

The former editor of NEXTA says that the change of views of Roman Pratosevich after his detention is not connected with torture in prison.

"As a person, he no longer exists, he is destroyed.

According to my information, Roman Pratasevich was met from the plane by the famous Artur Gaiko (an employee of GUBAZiK, who managed to become one of the administrators of the "Black Book of Belarus" - RS), with whom he was familiar.

As far as I heard, no one tortured him, no one mocked him, not even a finger was touched.

He passed everything himself.

I would not say that there have been any changes with him.

He has adapted to the situation in which he is now.

This is perhaps the problem of our revolution, that many random people who were not ready for it and who had different goals got into it.

Roma, for example, will entertain their pride."

- says Yan Rudzik.
