On February 15, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Emir of Dubai, as part of his business trip to Dubai.


APA reports that the Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Emir of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.


Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al-Maktum expressed his gratitude for the greetings and asked to convey his greetings to the President of Azerbaijan.


At the meeting, the role of President Ilham Aliyev's business visit to the UAE on January 15-16 of this year was emphasized in terms of the development of relations between the two countries.


The importance of the World Government Summit held in Dubai was noted, and satisfaction was expressed at the high level of representation of Azerbaijan at the event.


It was emphasized that the relations between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates are developing both in a bilateral format and within the framework of international institutions.


The importance of jointly implemented projects that meet the interests of both countries was noted.


Prospects of cooperation in various fields between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates were also discussed.
