We applied to the Ministry of Emergency Situations from the first day of the earthquake.

Our application was accepted and we have been operating in Kahramanmaraş as part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs forces for 4 days now.

Selcuk Elchin, correspondent of APA sent to Turkey, reports that Ogtay Mehdiyev, an Azerbaijani doctor who was in the earthquake region, chairman of the Association of Voluntary Doctors of Azerbaijan, said this to journalists.

He said that the modular hospital of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was built on the other side: "It was decided to create a surgical block for the prevention of infection. We are currently working with a staff of 15 people. A surgeon, a general surgeon, a pediatric surgeon, a traumatologist, and an intensivist are working here. In the hospital resuscitation block, surgery, intensive care blocks and a separate tent for ambulatory surgery block were created.

The blocks are supplied with every supply.

All this was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations".

Ogtay Mehdiyev noted that more than 300 people affected by the earthquake have applied to the hospital so far.
