Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev commented on the issue of whether the Ministry has prepared any plan to bring Azerbaijani students to the country in connection with online classes in universities after the earthquake in Turkey.

APA reports that the minister said that the earthquake in Turkey is a big disaster.

"We have also communicated with our Turkish colleagues about this.

A little time has passed yet, and the goal of the first stage is the issue of students who have suffered directly from the earthquake and want to return to Azerbaijan.

This work is carried out directly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkey.

Unfortunately, we still don't have detailed information about some of our students.

Therefore, the main goal in the first stage is to correctly find and deliver information about students in Turkey and ensure the return of those who want to return.

After that, it is necessary to regulate the issues related to the continuation of their education accordingly.

Those students are students of universities located in Turkey and are studying with that program.

As far as I know, many universities in Turkey have already switched to online education.

After that, students can clarify the issue of students coming to Azerbaijan and joining online classes from here separately with their universities.

Currently, our main goal is to identify our students who suffered from the earthquake together with the relevant institutions of Azerbaijan, to form the correct information about them and to share the information in a coordinated and centralized manner with our embassy operating in Turkey.
