4 days have passed since the terrible earthquakes in Turkey.

According to APA, the number of people who died as a result of the natural disaster in the brotherly country exceeded 18 thousand, and 74,242 people were injured.

This tragedy, covering a wide geography, became the agenda of the whole world from the first hours.

Those who consider themselves a part of modern civilization did not want to remain spectators of this terrible disaster.

The whole world rolled up its sleeves and wanted to contribute to the elimination of the consequences of the earthquake.

As a result, thousands of rescuers from more than 60 countries are currently operating in Turkey.

Regardless of their ethnicity or national interests, all rescue teams rejoice like children when they save lives from under the rubble, and cannot hide their sadness when they witness a tragedy.

As expected, Azerbaijan was the first country to react to the incident.

Hundreds of rescuers were sent to Turkey immediately after the earthquake by the order of the President of Azerbaijan.

Now it is reported that more than 700 Azerbaijani rescuers are working in the disaster area, and Azerbaijan is currently the country that sends the most rescuers to Turkey.

The common people also try to help the brotherly country in their time of need.

For days, we see that Azerbaijanis all over the world are trying to help the victims of the earthquake in any way possible.

We witnessed this kind of solidarity only once before - during the Second Karabakh War.

It is reported that during the three days after the disaster, the funds transferred by Azerbaijani citizens to Turkey for charity purposes reached one million dollars.

The humanitarian aid vehicles are not interrupted one after the other.

This humanitarian jihad, in which the people and government of Azerbaijan are trying to participate very closely, is in the attention of the Turkish media.

"Star" TV channel drew attention to the dialogue between Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu and an officer of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations.

In the videos, the Azerbaijani officer responds to Süleyman Soylu's thanks by saying "it is our duty".

Süleyman Soylu reacts to this by saying that "brother does not owe his brother".

"Anadolu" news agency gave an interview to 33-year-old Sarvar Bashirli, who was transporting bedding for Turkey with his broken-down car.

It is mentioned in the article that Sarvar from Lachin considers Azerbaijan and Turkey as "one nation, two states": "We consider it our duty to support the Turkish people.

We are "one nation, two states".

We do what is necessary and we will continue to do so."

Another news of "Anadolu" news agency is related to the humanitarian aid sent by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It was mentioned in the news that Azerbaijan has sent more than 1000 tents to Turkey.

It was noted that a total of 1030 tents and 462 heaters were sent from Baku to the disaster area with a humanitarian aid convoy consisting of 16 trucks.

"Ihlas" news agency announced the departure of 8 truckloads of aid collected within the framework of the "Brotherly Aid" platform from Baku to Turkey in Azerbaijan.

It was mentioned in the article that aid trucks containing warm clothes, bedding, dry food and hygiene products were sent to Turkey with the participation of Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Baghçin.

Serious consequences of the earthquake remain in brother Turkey.

Every soul pulled out from under the rubble in adverse weather conditions gives rise to new hopes.

Along with the piles of concrete, the rescuers fight day and night against time and cold.

Turkey has faced many great disasters throughout its history.

However, the great Turkish people have always gathered themselves and stood up and, in their own words, managed to be born again from the ashes.
