The director of the Russian Tretyakov Gallery has changed.

APA's Moscow correspondent reports with reference to local mass media that the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation has made a decision on this.

Zelfira Tregulova, the director of the State Tretyakov Gallery, left her position "due to the expiration of the employment contract".

Yelena Pronicheva, who previously headed the Polytechnic Museum, was appointed the new director of the Tretyakov Gallery.

It should be noted that Zelfira Tregulova has been the head of the Tretyakov Gallery since 2015.
