A 725-member staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan was involved in the elimination of the consequences of the earthquake in Turkey.

An employee of APA sent to the earthquake region reports that 41 of them are medical personnel.

A group of those persons participates in search and rescue operations in Kahramanmaraş city.

It should be noted that so far rescuers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, as a result of search and rescue operations in the city of Kahramanmarash, which was seriously damaged by the earthquake, have recovered 16 people, including 3 children, from the rubble, and handed over the dead bodies of 29 people.

It should be noted that 3 employees of APA Media Group are working in the natural disaster zone in Turkey.

APA information agency employee Selcuk Elchin and our cameraman Fariz Guluyev were sent to Kahramanmaras, the epicenter of the earthquake, together with the rescuers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
