The search and rescue teams of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) in the earthquake region of Turkey continue their activities.

The employee of APA sent to the earthquake region reports that rescuers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are carrying out search operations in the collapsed seven-story building on Heydar Aliyev Avenue in Kahramanmaras.

Currently, more than 50 live forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and specially trained dogs have been deployed to the area.

According to local residents, more than 20 people are believed to be trapped under the debris.

Search measures are being taken to remove them from under the rubble.

It should be noted that 3 employees of APA Media Group are working in the natural disaster zone in Turkey.

APA information agency employee Selcuk Elchin and our cameraman Fariz Guluyev were sent to Kahramanmaras, the epicenter of the earthquake, together with the rescuers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
