About a system that only knows how to plant

  • This system only knows how to plant.

She does not know how to play differently.

Security forces in regimes like Lukashenka's always need victims.

This is evidenced by the latest mass arrests in Fanipol and other cities for comments or some other online activity.

  • The commission hopes to lure those who would very much like to return.

    I know many such people.

These people will be in the hands of the regime and will not be able to do anything.

If they want to be imprisoned, they will be imprisoned.

  • If the intentions in this system were to change, we would now see people coming out of prisons, some real actions aimed at at least amnesty, we would see some conciliatory rhetoric.

This is not visible, just as there is no improvement in the attitude towards political prisoners.

  • In fact, this commission will, on the one hand, demonstrate that we want to enter into a dialogue, and on the other hand, impose the idea on the security forces themselves that they are in control of the situation.

  • This initiative is targeting one person and we all know that person's name.

About the lack of guarantees and arrests at the border

  • It is also aimed at those outside that there is a channel to return.

At BySOl and ByHelp, we know very well that many people miss it and would like to return.

They return and are arrested at the borders.

It is aimed at people who left not because of a case, but because they suspected that there might be such a case.

They sat abroad for two years, nothing happened, they thought that everything was quiet and they could return.

And here is a message for them - so come back, this is an additional guarantee for you that everything will be legal.

  • People who decide to return under the guarantees of the commission should remember that no one gives any guarantees.

Even if the Swede signs the guarantee on his own behalf, it may not be made tomorrow, because tomorrow he will be ordered to cancel it.

About the economic component

  • There was also an economic component.

No one knows exactly how many people left Belarus.

I personally estimate that even half a million people could leave Belarus starting in 2020.

Not all of them had a political motivation, many had an economic motivation related to the political, but none the less.

If I were Lukashenka, I would think that the enterprising part of society, which creates jobs, has left, and perhaps it would be good to take them back to at least slightly improve the situation in the economy.

  • In his understanding, such a "zamanukha" could work as in Stalin's time: come, repent, we will send you to a prison, you will work for the benefit of the state.

Such logic could be - we will not put them in prison, they will be in "home chemistry", the punishment is light, but the taxpayers will return to the state.
