Punjab Police Recruitment 2023: The application process for the recruitment of 288 posts of Sub Inspector in Punjab starts from today.

Punjab Police Recruitment 2023:

Along with constable in Punjab Police, notification for SI recruitment has also been issued.

Punjab Police Recruitment Board has invited applications from eligible candidates for appointment to the vacant posts of Sub Inspector.

The process of application has been started in online mode from today, 7th February.

Interested and eligible candidates visit the official website punjabpolice.gov.in to apply for this recruitment of Punjab Police.

The application form for Punjab Police SI will be filled till 28 February 2023.

According to the notification issued by the board, the candidates can be appointed at any place in Punjab or even outside Punjab.

A total of 288 Sub Inspector posts will be filled through this recruitment process.

In this, 144 posts of Sub Inspector in Armed Police Cadre and 144 posts in District Police Cadre will be filled.   

Selection Process

Candidates applying for the post of Sub Inspector will have to give a computer based test.

Candidates who qualify this exam will have to appear for Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test (with specific parameters).

The appointment of selected candidates may be in Punjab, India or outside the country also.

Educational qualification

For Sub Inspector (District Police Cadre) and Sub Inspector (District Police Cadre) Bachelor's degree from a recognized Institute or University.

Bachelor's degree should be on or before January 1, 2023.

Should have studied Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject in class X.

Or equivalent examination passed in Punjabi language.

age limit

The minimum age of the candidate should be minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on January 1, 2023.

Reserved category will get relaxation as per rules of Punjab Government.
