APA reports that Vahid Farzaliyev, an official of the Forestry Development Service, said that 20,000 tree seedlings were planted on an 18-hectare area during the day with the participation of Regional Forestry Centers employees, and more than one ton of seeds were sown.
"At the same time, reforestation measures were carried out with the participation of the employees of the Regional Forestry Center and the Northern Regional Division of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the area of the forest fund that was exposed to fire in the summer months of Shabran region, and oak seedlings were planted and oak seeds were sown."
According to Vahid Farzaliyev, during the last period of this year, 178,170 tree saplings were planted in the forest fund lands, and 10 tons of seeds were sown.
