The Turkish Consulate General in Nakhchivan is collecting humanitarian aid for earthquake victims.

APA's Nakhchivan office reports that the flow of residents to the consulate continues since morning.

Consul General of Turkey in Nakhchivan, Asip Kaya, told APA that he hoped that these difficult days would be left behind: "After hearing the news of the earthquake, all the residents of Nakhchivan, especially Fuad Najafli, the Prime Minister and other officials, called the Consulate General and me and offered their condolences. I express my special thanks. We are facing the biggest earthquake in the history of Turkey, and we need international assistance. We shared both our bank accounts and the list of supplies we need from our social accounts. After this news, our brothers from Nakhchivan started bringing the necessary supplies here."

Asip Kaya emphasized that there is not enough space for the collection of supplies in the territory of the General Consulate: "Therefore, we can choose another place from tomorrow.

Thanks to our brothers from Nakhchivan, we will send the collected supplies to Turkey as soon as possible.

I thank all our brothers who helped.

Hopefully, with the support of our friends, especially Azerbaijan, we will leave these difficult days behind us."
