The only Japanese restaurant "かんだ (Kanda)" chef "Kanda Hiroyuki" who has been awarded 3 stars in the "Tokyo Michelin Guide" for 16 consecutive years will be a guest at Taipei Marriott Hotel KOUMA Japanese Restaurant Pony from March 6th to 11th. Hiroyuki Kanda came to Taiwan for the first time in five years after coming to Taiwan in 2018, and joined hands with KOUMA Chef Jiang Zhenyou to fly food utensils, rare ingredients from Japan, and even the service team of the Tokyo store to Taiwan, creating for gourmets for 6 consecutive days Authentic Japanese Michelin three-star feast.

Hiroyuki Kanda will be on stage again after 5 years. This time, he will have a pop-up at the Taipei Marriott Hotel at the end of 2022. He will meet with the KOUMA culinary team and conduct site survey and guest cuisine planning.

In addition, Hiroyuki Kanda won the Chef Mentor Award in the "2022 Tokyo Michelin Guide", and the restaurant "かんだ (Kanda)" under his management has been awarded Tokyo Michelin Three Stars for 16 consecutive years since 2008.

Hiroyuki Kanda has accumulated more than 40 years of culinary experience since he entered the industry at the age of 18.

Adhering to the staff spirit of "true taste is bland", we do not pursue gorgeous cooking techniques, but use the least processing and strict control of ingredients to bring out the most delicious taste of ingredients.

Chef Jiang Zhenyou of KOUMA Japanese Cuisine, who was once recommended by the "Taipei Michelin Guide" as a plate, has more than 20 years of experience in Japanese cuisine.

At the age of 15, he embarked on a culinary career because he yearned for the chain-washing style of Japanese cuisine.

In the next 10 years, he successively worked for 3 Japanese restaurants in Taipei, and worked for more than 15 hours a day. In his spare time, he still practiced knife skills diligently, and achieved extraordinary craftsmanship with enthusiasm.

Since 2009, he has worked for Xihua Japanese Cuisine Pony. He has assisted Kanda Hiroyuki in Xihua's guest activities for 6 times, and has visited Tokyo Kanda restaurant several times to study.

KOUMA Japanese Cuisine Pony will enter the Taipei Marriott Hotel in April 2022. The details of the decoration, ingredients and dishes will be greatly upgraded. Special and rare high-end ingredients will be airlifted from Japan to create a unique Itamae taste bud enjoyment.

Chef Jiang Zhenyou, who has been deeply influenced by Kanda Hiroyuki, inherits his staff spirit and also pursues the cooking philosophy of "true taste is mild".

The guest dinner is RMB 15,000 + 10% per person during the lunch period, and RMB 20,000 + 10% per person in the evening. Both lunch and dinner include a glass of selected champagne.
