Deputies of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) visited the West Azerbaijan Community.

APA reports that before the meeting with the members of the Community, the Turkish deputies made a statement to the journalists.

Shamil Ayrim, a member of the Turkish Parliament, pointed out that they have been in Azerbaijan for 5 days and have held high-level and effective meetings.

According to him, after the 44-day war and the Victory of Azerbaijan, Turkish-Azerbaijani relations are rising to a higher level every day.

The deputy added that the leaders of Turkey and Azerbaijan are an example to the world of friendship and solidarity between our countries.

Shamil Ayrym emphasized that Turkey and Azerbaijan are sincere and want peace: "Azerbaijan is not the Azerbaijan of 30 years ago. Now there is a strong Azerbaijan, and Turkey is next to Azerbaijan. The Shusha Declaration is a "road map" of our cooperation. We will do our best to further develop our relations. We will do everything that comes our way. We left Karabakh victoriously, but there are a number of issues to be resolved, and we will resolve them as well."

The Turkish parliamentarian also noted that they support the peaceful action of eco-activists on the Lachin-Khankendi road: "These lands are the lands of Azerbaijan within the framework of international law. Those who have been looting these lumps for years must answer. They have looted Azerbaijan's natural resources and mines for a long time."

Shamil Ayrim stressed the necessity of opening the Zangezur corridor.

He said that peace passes through Zangezur and the world should know this: "The Zangezur corridor will be opened and we will go from Turkey to Azerbaijan through the Zangezur corridor."

The deputy also condemned the armed attack on Azerbaijan's embassy in Iran and offered his condolences.

According to Yunis Kılıç, deputy of TBMM, Turkey will always stand by Azerbaijan and support it.

The Turkish deputy noted that the mission of the West Azerbaijan community is very important and the return of Azerbaijanis deported from those lands is necessary.

Yunis Kılıç added that they are ready to help at the international level.
