UPSC 2023: Indian Forest Service preliminary exam notification released

UPSC 2023:

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification of Indian Forest Service Preliminary Examination 2023.

Along with the Civil Services Preliminary Examination, UPSC has also released the detailed notification for Indian Forest Service Recruitment.

The notice along with UPSC IPS Prelims Application Form 2023 is available on the official website of the Commission, upsc.gov.in.

Interested candidates can apply online for IFS Pre Exam from the official website of UPSC.

Online application forms can be filled till 21 February 2023.

Let us tell you that a total of 150 vacant posts of IFS officers will be filled through this exam.

know the merit 

A candidate applying for IFS must have a Bachelor's degree in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology from a recognized Institute or University or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or Engineering Needed.

how old are you

A candidate's age should be minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on August 1, 2023 i.e. he/she should not have been born earlier than August 2, 1991 and not later than August 1, 2002.

In the maximum age limit, OBC candidates will get three years, SC, ST candidates will get five years and Divyang candidates will get ten years relaxation.

UPSC IFS 2023: How to apply

1. Go to the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.

2. Now register yourself on the portal.

3. Log in to the website with the credentials.

4. Fill the application form with all the relevant details.

5. Upload the required documents.

6. Pay the application fee.

7. Submit the application form, download as PDF and also take a printout for future reference.
