The DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population had a meeting with the delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro, Minister of Capital Investments Ervin Ibrahimovic, who was on a visit to our country.

According to the information given to APA by the Ministry, the Co-Chairman of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Montenegro, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev stressed that relations between Azerbaijan and Montenegro based on high-level political dialogue and friendly relations are constantly developing.

He drew attention to the historic Victory of the Azerbaijan Army in the Second Karabakh War under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, the demining of our territories freed from the occupation of Armenia, and the major construction works carried out in those territories.



Stating that the trade turnover between the two countries continues to grow, Sahil Babayev noted the role of 18 cooperation documents signed in the past period in the development of relations.



It was reported that draft documents on bilateral cooperation in a number of fields have been prepared.

It was also emphasized that the draft document on cooperation between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare of Montenegro has already been prepared and cooperation in the social field will be implemented.

Information was provided about the reforms carried out in the fields of labor, employment and social protection in Azerbaijan in recent years and the positive results of these reforms, the concept of DOST, the electronicization program in the social field, and it was brought to attention that we are always ready to exchange experiences in these fields.

E. Ibrahimovic expressed his satisfaction and good impressions about his visit to our country, noted that they are interested in the constant expansion of relations between Montenegro and Azerbaijan, based on friendly relations, and that work is being carried out regularly in this direction.

The activities of the Joint Commission on economic cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Montenegro, which serve to expand relations, were discussed at the meeting.

It was emphasized that there are good prospects for the development of bilateral relations, energy, transport and tourism, agriculture, education, culture, etc. between the two countries.

The Montenegrin delegation got acquainted with DOST Agency and Baku DOST Center No. 1, with the services provided to the population.

Presentations were made to the guests about Azerbaijan's FRIEND concept, its advantages, innovative successes brought to the state social services system, as well as the large-scale electronicization program in the social field.
