[Reporter Zhang Xuanzhe/Taichung Report] Mr. Chen, a 54-year-old oil tanker driver, fell to the ground due to "aortic dissection" before the Spring Festival. He was rushed to the Dajia District of Guangtian General Hospital. Fortunately, he encountered a series of rescue operations. After 12 hours of surgery, he died at the gate of hell. Before being pulled back by the doctor, he lamented that after a year, it was like being reborn.

Mr. Chen is responsible for driving large oil tank trucks to various gas stations. He knows that the work is highly dangerous and he is the only source of income for his family. Therefore, he pays attention to health. He also looks younger than his actual age, and he regularly undergoes physical examinations, except for a slight high blood pressure, which has no warning before the onset.

Mr. Chen recalled that on the day of the incident, he only remembered that he was in the Tongxiao gas station before he passed out. After finishing the fuel loading operation and preparing to hand over, he suddenly felt a severe chest pain, which was like a memory fragment. He was sent to Guangtian Dajia Hospital in time for emergency surgery.

Mr. Chen sighed and said that it was really dangerous to fall down after the work was completed. If the disease occurred while the tanker was moving, the consequences would be disastrous.

Yang Zhijun, Director of the Cardiovascular Surgery Department of Dajia District of Guangtian Hospital, said that Mr. Chen was sent here urgently the day before the Chinese New Year's Eve. According to his condition, he was immediately diagnosed as "type A aortic dissection" and needed immediate "thoracotomy" rescue treatment. A blood vessel replaces the injured aorta.

Fortunately, the rescue time was seized. After 12 hours of surgery, the team went very smoothly. Mr. Chen recovered well. After 4 days, he was transferred out of the intensive care unit. After being observed in the general ward, he was able to talk and laugh happily. Next, he will return to the clinic for rehabilitation. I believe that his physical fitness can gradually recover.

Yang Zhijun pointed out that aortic dissection mainly occurs between the ages of 50 and 65. Due to arteriosclerosis, the inner wall becomes relatively fragile. If the arterial pressure is unbalanced at a certain moment, symptoms of aortic dissection and dissection are likely to occur.

Regardless of the cause of arteriosclerosis, when the blood pressure fluctuates, the blood flow will beat the artery wall like a sea wave, which will easily cause arterial dissection. Therefore, keeping blood pressure "stable" will help prevent arterial dissection.

Yang Zhijun said that young people may also have aortic dissection.

Nowadays, many people have the concept of fitness. Please remember to avoid "holding your breath and exerting force" when doing heavy training or lifting heavy objects; it is very dangerous to take a deep breath and then hold your breath and exert force. It is very likely to cause major arterial injury. When exercising, exhale to reduce the pressure on the chest cavity, so as to truly achieve the effect of exercising to maintain health.
