Hospital patients are freezing, there is a bad toilet in the yard

At the end of November, a woman from Mstislavsk district wrote about a complaint from a resident of the city, who said that it was very cold in the hospital of the district hospital.

"Unfortunately, patients are freezing in the wards today.

In my opinion, the air temperature in the health care facility does not meet the standards.

Help figure it out," she said.

The district prosecutor promised to help solve this problem.

Mstislavchenko, who lives in a partially furnished rented apartment, asked for help in repairing the weather toilet.

Sick children miss school because there is mold, fungus and cold in the apartment.

No one helps for 4 years

In November, the chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, Alyaksandar Turchyn, received residents of the region.

A mother of many children (five children) from the Staupets district said that the family was forced to live in a damp apartment, where mold and fungus occupied almost all the walls.

"The roof is leaking, so the ceiling is freezing, the apartment is very cold.

The walls are raw, we have to make repairs every year.

Previously, our house was on the balance sheet of the peat briquette plant, now it was handed over to the housing and communal services, but the attitude towards us has not changed.

Last year, the utility workers came and inspected the wall - according to their measurements, it froze to 9°С.

According to the woman, children miss classes at school because they are cold and sick all the time.

"But the local government is in no hurry to do at least something," a woman from the district is quoted as saying.

The chairman of the district executive committee confirmed that the woman has been addressing this issue since 2018.

They opened a kindergarten and are asking parents to collect money for buckets and mops

At another reception, residents of Khatezhyna agro-town addressed Turchyn.

An outpatient clinic was opened there, and a hematology unit was allocated to it.

But the laboratory assistant who worked on it went on maternity leave, and the device was taken to the clinic.

Now another laboratory technician is doing the tests with a microscope.

The problem is that the results are imprecise and cannot be trusted.

They also complained about the work of the new kindergarten, which opened in the agricultural town.

In particular, requests are received from the administration to collect money from parents for buckets, mops, etc.

Forced to drive on the side and smash cars

Residents of the Medydel region came to the chairman of the regional executive committee with the problem of a road that "cannot be passed, not that it is passable".

"There are only 800 meters of that asphalt.

So no, road workers will repair potholes, and that's it.

But pothole repairs alone will not solve the problem.

A couple of weeks will pass after such "patching", and everything will be the same again: we fall, break cars.

We have to drive on the side.

Is it not possible to do a good, high-quality job once and forget about it?"

- the local newspaper quotes residents.

In 2018, the residents of the village collected signatures, asking the local authorities to fix the problematic road.

They were answered: major repairs are planned for the end of 2018 — the beginning of 2019.

Nothing has changed in three years.

"They do not want to put up with the fact that someone's amenities may be cheaper"

In the first days of 2023, "Gomelskaya Pravda" wrote about the reception of the residents of Gomel by the chairman of the regional executive committee, Ivan Krupko.

Pensioners came to the reception.

Gomel

"For a long time they lived without comfort, and now comfort came to their homes.

The construction of the sewage system was finally completed in the summer.

The project was financed by the co-operative's own funds and budget funds — the state helped significantly," the journalists recount.

And now other streets are connected to the system.

And women believe that new subscribers will pay less than them, and this is unfair, the newspaper continues:

"Women wonder: 'Why do we need freebies from the neighboring street?'" the publication states.

The applicants were explained the financial schedule, which is the basis of the implementation of the project.

"Everything is done according to the law, but the women do not want to put up with the fact that someone can get the amenities cheaper," the regional newspaper writes.

The water is of poor quality, or there is none at all

Residents of Yaromin, Gomel district, came to the meeting with questions about the infrastructure of the agro-town.

"On our street, Vakzalnaya Road, they use graders, but that's literally enough for a couple of days.

And then it's difficult to drive and walk again, it's very dusty outside," they described the situation.

They also complained about the quality of water, the pressure in the water supply networks.

"They promised to connect us to the engineering networks of Gomelvodakanal, but the deadlines are still being pushed forward," say residents of the agricultural town.

He lost his job and his car because the sunroof was crooked on the road

Stanislav Aleksandrovich, who was involved in an accident in Vetka in the summer, came to another meeting.

According to him, he was moving at a speed that did not exceed the permissible speed, he ran into the hatch, the cover of which became a rub.

As a result, the car crashed into a power line pole.

The driver has complaints about the sunroof configuration, which is believed to have led to the accident.

After that, he lost his job and his car - it cannot be restored, and according to the decision of the district court, the payment is not enough for a new car.

"Governor" Krupko promised that specialists of the regional executive committee would also study the situation.

Problems of "ethics" of advertising

In Polotsk, a citizen came to the local deputy who complained about social advertising placed on city structures.

He asked to check if she was ethical.

The woman from Polatka district does not write what exactly it is about.

The deputy promised to "study" this issue with the specialized commissions of the House of Representatives and other bodies.

Delayed payment, leaky roof and dampness

Residents of the Lazhok village of the Shumilinsky District complained about the delay in payment for the delivered milk.

Workers of one of the agricultural enterprises raised the issue of non-payment of wages.

And the residents of the district center themselves asked to make sure that the courtyard was not flooded, and complained about the cold in the apartment in winter.

A resident of the district center came with a similar problem - there is water in the basement of the high-rise building where he lives.

The man lives on the first floor and suffers from dampness.

Kamungas, he said, knows about it, but does nothing to fix it.

In another village of the district, Dobryn, people asked not to close the local library.

In the agricultural town of Kryvoe Syalo, a pensioner and a disabled woman complained about a leaky roof in a house that until recently belonged to a local household.

The woman repeatedly appealed for help to the village council and the local economy itself, but for many years she was never helped.

"It is impossible to live in such conditions, the applicant admitted," the district woman writes.

Water outages, unclean streets

"Berezin Panorama" told about the reception by the chairman of the Berezin District Executive Committee, Dzianis Dishuk.

Residents of the village of Horadishcha complained about low voltage.

"If you turn on several appliances at the same time, the light goes out," the woman explained.

"This issue concerns all the residents of our village," the local newspaper quoted a local resident as saying, adding: "The issue is under control."

Immediately, several residents contacted about water interruptions.

"Especially on Saturday and Sunday, there is practically no water, or there is very little pressure," Berezina Panorama conveys the problem of the people.

Other residents complained that there is no place to wait for mobile mail, as there is no stationary post office in the village.

In winter, people stand outside - rain, snow, cold.

- Your problem is solvable, - noted the chairman of the district executive committee.

- In the office of the agricultural enterprise in the lobby you can wait for the mail truck.

Other residents said that they want to install electric heating, but they are not given a technical permit because there is a lack of power.

The head of the district explained that this problem is "characteristic of many villages in our district".

"The power lines are old - that's why it's impossible to connect the electric heating," the district woman quotes him as saying.

Residents of the village of Lyubushany also complained about the untimely clearing of the roads from snow.

Only the central road is cleaned, and the others - a couple of times.

Small salary and advice from the prosecutor

A woman from Naravlya district describes the problems of the workers of the sewing section.

The newspaper described their participation in the reception as follows: "The main thing that worried everyone was the increase in wages."

The district prosecutor suggested that they write a collective appeal to the management of the enterprise.

And in case of wrongful refusal to raise the salary, he promised to help.

"You should not be afraid to ask questions to the head.

But they should not be oral, but written.

If you have a document, it is much easier to prove your claim.

And don't be afraid that you will be fired for that," the prosecutor encouraged the women.

At the reception of the chairman of the regional executive committee, residents of one of the houses in Narowli talked about major repairs.

"The main problem is the leaking roof.

Until 2020, the house was under the control of the cooperative, the money for repairs was collected, but it is not known where it was distributed," the district woman writes.

Student Internet with broken plumbing and insects

Citizens were received in Mazyr by Lukashenka's regional assistant Siarhei Bartash.

He was approached by the "excited mother" of a student of the Mazyr State Pedagogical University.

I. P. Shamyakin.

She asked to pay attention to the living conditions in student dormitory No. 3.

"It's a beautiful city, excellent teachers, but the plumbing in the dormitory is out of order, old windows are blowing, there are insects.

And the payment at the same time is much higher than usual rates," the newspaper quotes the woman's complaint.

Another resident drew attention to the condition of the apartment building in which her large family lives: the sewer is clogged, the intercom does not work, and the entrance is dirty.

86 bridges need major repairs

Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zayats held a visiting reception in the Sharkavshchyna District Executive Committee (Vitebshchyna).

A resident of the town asked to allocate funds for the repair of bridges in the area.

During the reception, the authorities noted that 86 bridges in the Vitebsk region are in need of major repairs.

20 years of fighting for the status of liquidator of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant

An elderly resident of Vitebsk came to the reception of the head of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kachanova in Vitebsk, who said that for more than 20 years he has not been able to solve the problem of confirming the status of liquidator of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

The man explained that he had been working as a driver in the exclusion zone for more than a month, but there was no stamp on one of the travel documents.

According to him, the former liquidator's certificate was taken away from the social service authorities, but a new one was not issued.

In Beshankovichi, a resident of the village of Dubki approached Lukashenka's assistant, the Vitebsk region inspector Anatoly Linevych.

He is worried that the auto shop will stop coming to the village, because the road is bad.

The Chairman of the District Council of Deputies, Genadz Shvedau, reassured that the auto shop's arrival schedule has not changed, and the road is periodically filled with gravel so that the car can reach it.

The next call was from Polotsk.

A woman contacted about the apartment of her parents, who live in Beshankovichi.

She complained about insufficient heating.

She was promised that this year there will be reconstruction of the section of the thermal line, and people will have heat.

Another question related to the construction of a gas station.

One of the residents of the district complained that it is 41 km from his village to the gas station in Glyboky, 33 km to Sharkavshchyna, 45 km to Prazaroki, and 50 km to Dizna.

Getting to gas stations is far and expensive, whichever way you go.

There is no one to change the light bulbs in the whole district

At the reception in Myorskyi district, an elderly man asked to fix the entrance to his village.

In dry weather, there are no problems, but after the rain, neither the fast nor the auto shop arrive.

Grading helps only for a short time, because, the petitioner said, it is performed technically incorrectly.

Gravel shifts to the sides, forming a trough on the roadway.

There is no water draining into the ditch.

People also complained about street lighting.

It was explained to them that there is only one light bulb replacement team for the entire district, so they are not always managed promptly.

Residents of Merow, who complained about the snow-covered streets, promised to clean them in a few days.
