About 24 minutes after take-off, a government aircraft carrying Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy to Delhi developed a technical snag, forcing it to return to the Gannavaram airport here.

This information has been given in an official statement.

The Chief Minister was on his way to the national capital to attend a meeting called for preparations for the Global Investors Summit.

According to the statement, “The aircraft along with the Chief Minister and his team took off for Delhi at 5.30 pm.

Shortly after, the pilot found a technical glitch in the plane and the flight was brought back.

The Vijayawada-Delhi flight returned to the 'parking bay' at 5.27 pm. According to the statement, the chief minister has reached his Tedepalli residence.

It has been said in the statement that the officials are making alternative arrangements for the Chief Minister's visit to Delhi.
