In 2022, 45 people who committed corruption offenses were caught red-handed.

Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev said this today at the General Board meeting of the Prosecutor General's Office.

341 criminal cases related to corruption offenses were initiated by the Chief Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General, 209 cases against 274 persons were completed and sent to the courts for consideration.

By the Chief Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General, pre-trial proceedings were conducted on the application of criminal-legal measures against 27 legal entities, and legal entities and their leaders were brought to court.

As a result of 37 operational measures conducted by the Chief Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General, 45 people who committed corruption crimes were caught in the act, as well as 12 wanted persons were arrested.
