Two master's degrees were presented at ADA University within the Italy-Azerbaijan University project.

APA informs that the Global management and politics specialty to be taught at the master's level is offered through cooperation with Italy's Luiss University, and the Food system management specialty is offered with the University of Bologna.

The new master's degrees are the first programs offered within the Italy-Azerbaijan University.

Rector of ADA University, Ambassador Hafiz Pashayev greeted the guests and spoke about the history of Italy-Azerbaijan University and the work done within the framework of this initiative in the last 3 years.

The rector noted that the purpose of the qualifications offered within the framework of this initiative is to train highly qualified personnel in the priority areas of the economy.

Later, Raffealla Campaner, vice-rector of the University of Bologna, conveyed his congratulations on the newly opened majors.

He said that the Italian-Azerbaijani University is important both for the University of Bologna and for the relations between the two countries.

Cooperation with the University of Bologna within the framework of this project includes the establishment of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Science, joint teaching and research projects, training for academic and administrative staff, and projects aimed at the integration of cultures.

For the implementation of these projects, the University of Bologna will take advantage of the field-to-table model in which it has extensive experience.

Currently, the specialty offered at the master's level is called Food System Management and will be taught from the next academic year.

The purpose of this program is to train future managers, specialists and entrepreneurs in agriculture and food industry.

Vice-rector of Luiss University Raffaele Marchetti continued the event and said that the basis of the uniqueness of Italian culture is the individual approach.

Global management and politics major is a multidisciplinary (interdisciplinary) program that brings together the fields of political science, international relations and management.

The purpose of the program is to teach the formation, management and promotion of a competitive "Made in Azerbaijan" (Azerbaijan brand promotion) quality mark, which involves reconciling global politics and business management, as well as the national context.

As part of this qualification, students will participate in a summer school on the topic "Made in Italy" in Rome, where they will have the opportunity to meet well-known Italian companies.

Representatives of state and public institutions, various associations, organizations, agricultural enterprises, university representatives and potential students took part in the event.

Student admission to the new master's programs offered within the framework of the Italy-Azerbaijan project is already announced for the 2023 academic year.

Teaching in the program will be held in English for two years by professors from ADA University and partner Italian universities.

During the study period, students will also study in Italy for a while.

Candidates for admission must pass an interview in addition to participating in the international English language test and the master's degree entrance exams conducted by the State Examination Center.

The bilateral agreements between ADA University, Louis University and Bologna University were signed on September 1, 2022, during the signing ceremony of the Italian-Azerbaijani University held as part of the opening of the new building of the Azerbaijani embassy and cultural center in Rome.
