Olga Garbunova

commented on the regime's statement on the creation of a commission to work with citizens who want to return from abroad.

"We see that the regime is supposedly ready to forgive "those who made a mistake".

It is worth reminding how hundreds of people wrote letters for pardon - and this is a difficult moral choice - and only a few were released, and requests even from people with disabilities and the elderly were ignored, - noted Garbunova.

- We see how the regime declares its readiness to let former protest participants who have "repented" into the country, but in reality we know that many people are detained at the border with Belarus on trumped-up charges.

So far we see that the regime is saying the exact opposite of what it is doing in the dark corner.

And, as always, he tries to look like a benefactor."

Olga Garbunova turned to the authorities with a proposal.

Human rights activists have prepared a "humanitarian list of political prisoners", which includes people with disabilities, serious illnesses, pensioners, minors, parents with many children, women who should not be behind bars for reasons of humanity.

Release these people and show that you are actually ready to "take a step towards it", - said the representative of the Cabinet on social issues.

Against the backdrop of yet another set of conditions for political emigrants under which they can return to Belarus, the democratic leader of Belarus

Sviatlana Tsikhanovskaya

and representatives of the Joint Transitional Cabinet met with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Poland

Mariusz Kaminski

and discussed issues related to the simplification of legalization and migration procedures for Belarusians.

The Belarusian side asked for assistance in making the procedures more flexible and faster.

Representatives of the Belarusian opposition also raised the issue of issuing alternative documents of the new Belarus and called on Poland to support the initiative.
