According to former Shiv Sena MP from Shirur, Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil, who organized the run, car owners from Pune and neighboring Ahmedabad district participated in the event.

The kart owners raced individually on a 400-meter track, and the winners were decided by the time clocked by each kart.
