Dr.

Kikwete said this today January 24, 2023 when he was visited by the Secretary General Ministry of Health, Prof.

Abel Makubi in his office in Dar es Salaam.

Dr.

Kikwete has said that he is grateful to the Government through the Ministry of Health for continuing to trust him and use him in his contribution to improving services in the health sector in the country.

And, Secretary General, Ministry of Health Prof.

Abel Makubi has given sincere thanks to the retired President Dr.

Kikwete for his great contribution in the Health sector when he was President and after his retirement especially in the area of ​​primary health, human resources, specialist training, mother and child health, dental services and major investment in JKCI Hospital, Mlonganzila, Benjamin Mkapa and CUHAS University.

In addition, until now, the retired President continues to personally cooperate with his Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete Foundation to the Ministry of Health in an effort to improve health services, especially Maternal, Mother and Child services and continue to be an Ambassador for efforts to improve the health sector in the country .
