The world-famous Georgian historian and linguist, Caucasian scholar Zaza Aleksidze has died.

APA reports with reference to Georgian media that he died today.

Zaza Aleksidze was born on August 3, 1935.

He received awards as a result of a number of scientific studies.

His most recent award was the "French Renaissance" gold medal.

He was also honored for his contribution to world culture in 2022.

At Zaza Alexis, at the same time, he managed to decipher Albanian texts and was able to read them.
