The writer Zdravka Evtimova received a diploma for the best short story with science fiction elements from the USA.

"For Dimitar - A poet" received the most votes from science fiction writers and readers on the Critters platform.

"I was very happy, but I always put limits on joy, because it is only a moment.

This story is, in fact, an abridged version of a story that appeared in Ofnews.

I wanted it to be shorter and more collected and I made it in English in its shorter version.

And I'm glad that my colleagues nominated and evaluated it," commented Zdravka Evtimova to BTA.

She added that it is in first place in the ranking, which indicates the ten best stories with science fiction elements, as chosen by readers and writers of the American platform.

"This does not mean that I will receive any financial sums for this or an award," pointed out Evtimova.

Zdravka Evtimova's fifth novel is published in the USA

The Bulgarian writer learned the news about her diploma from her publisher, Starship Sloane Publishing, who, after the ranking, started work on publishing a new novel by Zdravka Evtimova in the USA.

"The book that is expected to be published is called He May Wear my Silence."

This is a verse from the poem "The Mute Boy" by Federico García Lorca," the writer said.

Voting on the Critters platform was divided into 38 categories - Best Science Fiction Novel, Best Science Fiction Magazine, Best Illustrator, Best Science Fiction Review, Best Elemental Novel of horror, best fantasy, best science fiction editor, and more.

This is the 25th vote in Critters history.
