An operation against the illegal circulation of drugs was conducted by the officers of the Gusar District Police Department.

According to the information given to APA by the Guba regional group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the operation and search measures, residents of the region, Elkhan Shikhzadayev and Elshad Jamalov, who are suspected of using, acquiring, storing and transporting drugs, were detained.

During the inspection of those persons and the house where they lived, about half a kilogram of narcotic marijuana was found and taken away.

A criminal case has been initiated in Gusar RPSH regarding the facts.
