Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are going to be parents

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are expecting their first child.

The couple announced the pregnancy through a post on Instagram on Sunday.

The couple shared joint posts on Instagram and revealed that this is "the most beautiful phase of their life".

In the post shared by Shoaib, the couple is seen with their backs towards the camera, wearing white dresses and matching caps.

Dipika's cap reads "Mom-to-be", while Shoaib's cap reads "Dad-to-be."

Sharing the post, he wrote, "With hearts full of gratitude, joy, excitement as well as trepidation sharing this news with all of you. This is the most beautiful phase of our lives. Yessss we are expecting our first child." Looking forward!! going to embrace parenthood soon.

Soon after sharing the post, his friends from the industry started wishing him well.

He captioned it, "Every moment will be good when your steps join ours. Yessss we are expecting our first child!! Need your prayers and love for our baby.

Let us tell you that Deepika Kakkar and Shoaib Ibrahim fell in love on the sets of their popular show Sasural Simar Ka.

They got married in 2018 after dating for many years.
