On January 22, around 20:00, the Binagadi district prosecutor's office received information about the injuries of Parvana Ismayilova and the death of Atesh Juvarov, residents of Binagadi district of the capital.

The General Prosecutor's Office told APA that the prosecutor's office immediately inspected the scene and the body with the participation of a criminal expert, and other necessary actions were taken.

During the preliminary investigation, reasonable suspicions were established that Atesh Juvarov, born in 1987, intentionally tried to kill his wife Parvane Ismayilova, born in 1983, with a cutting tool during a dispute between them, and then committed suicide by injuring himself with the same tool.

In relation to the fact, a criminal case was initiated in the Binagadi district prosecutor's office under articles 29, 120.1 (attempt to commit murder) and 125 (bringing oneself to the point of killing) of the Criminal Code.

Currently, the preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
